The unit has separate machineries and production lines to package products like sugar, corn starch, wheat flour for institutional and retail distribution. Marketed under the brand name of Labonte`, the products are manufactured and processed under stringent quality control processes to maintain optimum hygienic standards. The facility is OHSAS 14000 / 9000 / FSSC 22000, FSSAI, HALAL, KOSHER certified and also has pharmaceutical drug licences. 

SUGAR

PPS Foods offers the following varieties of sugar for retail and institutional distribution. The products are available in different packaging - 1 kg, 5kg, 25kg, 50kg and 1 MT jumbobag packing.

PLANTATION WHITE SUGAR

PPS sources refined white sugar from the best and choicest suppliers, and repackages it in multiple quantities for different markets. The sugar is passed through stringent Quality Checks to ensure purity, solubility and authenticity. The product is packed using fully automated packaging machines and is supplied to the domestic markets and exported to other countries.

PHARMACEUTICAL SUGAR

PPS manufactures High quality refined graded sugar , that can be customized as mandated by pharma companies. The product is manufactured and stored in a hygienic environment to maintain optimum purity and quality. 

FEATURES: Free flowing and directly compressible, quick dissolving in hot and cold liquids, binds with other ingredients easily, 100% free from impurities and metallic elements, uniform grain size, available in wide range of microns and multiple packaging options. 

Sugar can also be customized as per the applications as below:

PULVERISED / ICING SUGAR

Labonte Pulverized Sugar is double refined super fine sugar. It is made by grinding sugar in machines, coarse particles are sieved through 150 micron filter leaving a smooth free- flowing granulated sugar which is easily soluble and perfect for home baking and large-scale manufacturing uses.

Labonte` Icing Sugar is a finely ground double refined sugar produced by milling granulated / pulverized sugar into a powdered state. It contains between * 2% and 5% of corn starch - an anti-caking agent to absorb moisture, prevent clumping, and improve flow. Strict protocols and processes are followed to maintain hygiene and quality standards.

FEATURES: Double refined, Super Fine - consistent granular size, easily soluble, pure and free flowing and moisture free; Icing Sugar: Finer, smoother, whiter and glossier finish, higher shelf life, better stability than other products.

JAGGERY POWDER

LOW GI SUGAR

Unlike regular sugar, this sugar contributes to a lower rise in blood sugar levels. This can be used in replacement for the regular sugar. It is natural and without any artificial taste. It is a great alternative to regular white sugar. This is healthy and helps you control the rise in blood glucose.

FEATURES: It is manufactured using a sulphur free process which makes it absolutely safe and has the natural taste of sugar.

The Gummidipoondi facility has a separate retail packing unit that packages sugar purely for retail distribution in 1/2kg, 1kg and 5kg packets.
